Bergin University of Canine Studies
The Bergin University of Canine Studies , a non-profit corporation, is dedicated to advancing the partnership between people and dogs. Through their college degree programs and research they enable individuals and organizations worldwide to be more productive in pursuing dog-related careers and to be more effective in “helping dogs help people."
Since the University’s founding in 1991, hundreds of people from 16 countries and 34 states have attended its college programs and it has graduated over a hundred service and social/therapy teams. The Bergin University of Canine Studies’ groundbreaking research in teaching dogs to read, early pup training, and
teens at-risk training service dogs
demonstrates new ways to optimize human’s interactions with dogs. These findings are shared worldwide.
